Jason began playing music at a very young age. At the tender age of 5 years old Jason began to sing publicly and develop a true love for music. At the age of 8 years old Jason discovered a saxophone at a reletives home that had not been played in years and immediately new that the sax was going to be his instrument of choice. His major musical influence is gospel music, and it wasn't until his teenage years that he became activally involved in jazz. Jason has performed along side and recorded with many artists of many genres, both local and national. Jason's primary focus in music is to be able to create an atmosphere where someone can experience the creator of the music he plays. He currently resides in Gig Harbor, Washington with his wife, highschool sweetheart Lakeesha and 3 children, Mariah and "the twins" Ethan and Jeron. Jason plans to record his first solo album soon, which will be a live gospel/jazz recording featuring  highly acclaimed vocalists, musicians and songwriters
