Tom Provo, a Seattle native, has been performing around the Northwest since the early 1970's.  He is a self-taught keyboard player with roots in Jazz, funk, blues and African rhythms.  Tom started playing piano and guitar and writhing music at the age of 7.  At the age of 12, he was chosen by the University of Washinton for a study on people with extraordinary improvisational abilities.  Tom studied Jazz theory with Peter Koch from the Cornish School of the Arts.  He was inspired by Stevie Wonder, Billy Cobham, Jan Hammer, George Duke, The Crusaders, Tower of Power and Earth, Wind and Fire.

Tom has performed with may top Northwest artist including Sam Smith, Kenny G, Tony Gable and Joe Erickson.  He has written and co-produced original songs with R&B groups Bensusen and Common Cause.

Tom is excited about our latest CD 7th Power and his writing and production contributions of the recordings "Autorotation" and "Just a Heartbeat Away"
